If you need the convenience of two lines, the Meridian 9417
is the right telephone for you. It links both lines with a conference key—so
you can easily hold three-way calls. The handsfree operation lets you take part
in a conference call or one-on-one conversation without ever lifting the
receiver.
With the M9417, you don’t need to dedicate a line to a fax
machine or modem. The Call Director feature lets you use distinctive ringing
from your network service provider to economically list separate numbers for
you telephone and fax or modem. The M9417 detects the special ring and
automatically routes the call to the proper device.
TheM9417 adds to the value of Caller ID service with
Preferred Name Match. When you receive a call from any of the 100 important
clients, suppliers, or other contacts you entered in your personal directory,
the M9417 displays your preferred mane for the caller.
The M9417’s personal directory makes it easier to place
calls too—just highlight an entry with the scroll keys or keypad, then press
the dial key. You can even share your directory with a coworker by simply
transferring the information to another M9417 telephone.
The M9417 tracks the last 100 callers to either line—in
either one or two separate Call Logs. The set’s seven-digit stripping
capability means you can return calls directly from your Call Log—even within a
Centrex environment with three or four-digit dialing.
The M9417 offers six memory keys that can be programmed with
access codes for network service. Or, use them for quick dialing of other
important numbers. Even the Redial function brings extra convenience—you can
automatically dial any of the last 10 numbers you called.
